BEA AquaLogic Pages helps everyday participants create Web pages and Web applications. Put simply, Pages is a Web page authoring system and application builder. BEA AquaLogic Pages features a palette of drag-and-drop components that help participants create simple Web pages, blogs, and wikis, as well as more powerful data-driven Web applications.
For everyday users, BEA AquaLogic Pages is a revolution: creating Web applications as quickly as creating a new document. Users add data to their applications fed directly from core enterprise systems, and can wire that data on the page to other components, like a Google Map or an Internet RSS Feed. The UI of the data set provides sorting, filtering, pagination and search. DataSpace templates give users a head-start for simple, content-driven applications, like a personal blog. |

Create dynamic applications and workspaces that combine data, information and application components |
LiveSpaces are created by participants by assembling and combining DataSpaces, documents and other unstructured information added to the system. LiveSpaces can be built collaboratively by multiple users, and the system can track and control versions over time. LiveSpaces offer permissioning and access management capabilities, so LiveSpace owners can delegate certain responsibilities to multiple participants but still maintain control. LiveSpaces are used to create Web applications. |
